Florida gold has moved north!

Spent 10 days in sunny FL and only found one fake earring along with some clad. Came back to CT, hit the lane with the J-man and found gold and ice!! The beach that we hit was devasted by a very strong nor'easter earlier this year, it sucked about 5 feet in depth worth of sand out to sea. They have had bulldozers in action for quite some time trying to restore this beach. We decided to give it a try since the weather has been nice just to see what we could find. To our surprise there were many targets to dig in areas, one spot produced clad one right after another. A 14K wedding band and 14K white gold with 3 diamonds also showed up in the scoop.

You cannot depend on a jeweler to tell you the truth about a gem stone.........they are known to speak with crooked tongues.
