Flying with the LTD

Alright guys, gals I am flying down to Fla. in december, and want to take my f75 with me,I dont fly much,so how do I go about this ,I have been told to ship my machine ups ahead of me,or do I carry it like luggage, how do the airlines treat metal detectors? Maybe someone with flying experiance can help? Thanx rick in mi.

I fly with mine frequently and carry it on the plane with me. I break it down and pack it is a soft, padded case. Never had a problem. I would never, never, check it as baggage. HH jim tn

Never had a problem and I also put it in a carry on bag (mines a detector bag), they make me open it up cause they see the wires and stuff, but never had any problem. Also I take out the batteries so the xray doesn't see a battery pack like in a bomb, and don't put your diggers with it or in a carry on the'll say its a weapon, put it in your check in baggages.have a great trip.

I hate to carry anything on a plane more than my small go-bag so I ship mine ahead when I travel. I ship my luggage too. Makes traveling easier.

Wow thanx guys, this gives me a heads up, I will 'dig in to this info' thanx hh rick in mi.
