Hello Dwayne2010! If that were true, than Jesus would not have shed His precious blood and beaten body upon the Cross of Calvary that we might be saved! Semperfi did not post the pictures that showed how horrible His death really was! But it was truly a terrible death just to take your place, mine and every sinner's place, for we are all born sinners and need a Savior because of Adam and Eve's committed sins in the Garden of Eden and had to be cast out! Now, salvation is a free gift to save us from eternal death in the Lake of Fire by believing in Jesus' virgin birth, death, living again and arising from a BORROWED TOMB, and His resurrection, as Jesus was not going to stay there or on Earth, for He went back to His throne after 50 days----His tomb is empty!!
We cannot be good enough on our own or do enough good-works to earn our way, no money or any precious thing will gain us a way into Heaven, for there is only one way and that is by accepting Lord Jesus Christ as our own personal Savior, Who will give us complete freedom from the second death by faith believing and following God's Holy Spiritual guidance all the way Home into His glory-land!
You see we are made in God's image but we aren't His Child or adopted into the Family of God as a Jew by being engrafted onto the Olive Tree, until we truly believe in God's only begotten Son, Who in the flesh of man but still fully God took the stripes for all our sins that we MIGHT be saved! It is not Jehovah God's will that any should perish but that all would come to repentance and be with Him eternally! We must choose life or choose death and it is our choice, for God will not force anyone to believe in or follow His beloved Son, Jesus! Now, He will draw you by His Holy Spirit to accept eternal life and not eternal death, but there is only one door into your heart and soul and you must open it yourself and invite Jesus inside and if we really are true believers He will come in and abide with us and we will abide with Him! Then at mortal death our spirit will go back to God Who gave it and then we will get our immortal and incorruptible bodies on Resurrection Day, when the dead and those still alive in Christ rise up by the calling of the Spirit of God within us and meet Him in the air!
As long as we have mortal breath and blood flowing through our veins, we still have a chance to believe in Jesus and be saved from all our sins by confessing them to God and be forgiven of all of them wiith changes made in the way we live! Repentance means to turn around and go a different way (God's righteous way) and not sin willfuly any more! But once we mortally die, there is no more chance to be saved and be with Jesus forever more! Then on Judgement Day the Sinners will be judged guilty of sinning and seen without Jesus' precious blood covering their sins and will be cast away into outer darkness and then death and hell will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which burneth forever and ever with the smoke of their torment rising up unto God, crying for His Holy Spiritual Comforter to come to them, but there is a wide gulf separating the sinners from the God's Children, His faithful saints, so they will have no comfort and never can escape this place of torture and torment in the burning flames with their consciences remembering they could have had a place in Heaven had they believed in Jesus and been saved from their confessed sins to be blessed with joy unspeakable and full of glory instead of being punished!
Honor His Commandments to Love God (Jehovah) only and love one another as He loves us! We do not live by the Laws of the Old Testament any longer, for Jesus came and gave us a new Covenant in the New Testament! Believing faith is a vow we make to God, in Jesus' name, or refusing Him breaks His covenant of salvation to be suffering in punishment! Our Savior, Jesus, died for us by doing what no other god nor man could do, for He was without sin by the Virgin Mary giving Him birth through conceiving by God's Holy Spirit overshadowing her womb, so that the corrupted seed of man would not spoil the purity and holiness of Jesus-----The one and only Savior Who will and can save us by faith beliiving! Seek and ye shall find; ask and ye will receive the absolute truth of His existance! He is still livng and sits upon His throne at the right hand of His Father, God! There is only One God but He is three in one, so really difficult to understand and accept until we are saved and have God's Spirit within us, Who leads us into all truth!
