Follow Up On The Day I Had Planned...

I did get to see some of the Clemson game (go Tigers!), but the rest of my day took a drastic turn from the direction I had planned it would go. That was all the football I got to see. No Bama... nothin. The house didn't get cleaned either. My girls night out was shortened and almost didn't happen at all. I ended up helping Tim on a project at my daughter's cabin late morning till early afternoon. Came home and jumped in the shower in hopes of getting ready for my night out a bit early so I could catch some of the other games on TV before leaving. Had just stepped out of the shower when my phone rings & it's Julie (my daughter) telling me to get up there (to her place) as soon as possible because Tim had fallen about 10 ft off the ladder and was hurt really bad. My son (Jason) had just gotten there to pick some things up from Julie and it was a blessing he came when he did. When I got there Tim was laying on the ground in a puddle of blood screaming in pain. His left wrist was clearly broken and turned out in a horrible position, He had hit his face & head and was bleeding profusely and his glasses were completely destroyed. He had several other places bleeding and both legs from the knees down were turning black and blue and beginning to puff up. I started to call 911 and he said he would refuse to go if they came because he wasn't going to pay a huge bill just to ride in an ambulance, so Jason & Julie loaded him in the back of his SUV while I came back to the house to change clothes and get my shoes. They took him right on back when I got him to the hospital. Looks like nothing is broken other than his wrist and it is a severe break. He will be having surgery in the morning (Sunday morning) to put it back together. Anyway, after they got him into a room and sedated, he insisted I go on and meet my friends to finish what was left of the night because he would be sleeping anyway. I did go ahead and meet up with them but it wasn't as much fun as I'd hoped for after all that had happened. Please be in prayer for Tim through all of this. And for the doctors & nurses as they do surgery and care for him. AND for ME as I tend to him after he gets home!!!! THANKS!

Will pray for all of you, these things are never fun.

Thanks for the prayers. Tim is in surgery right now. They came and got him around 7:05 (Central Time). No idea how long it will take. Brought my laptop and am trying to occupy my time while I wait.

So sorry Lisa that your husband got hurt, keep us updated, praying for a successful surgery!

Well our plans often go astray because not everything works out according to what we want them to do! Sorry to hear about Tim's fall and his broken wrist! Praise God that it wasn't more...for satan would have been pleased to have destroyed him but God was there to help protect him from fully breaking up all over or being killed as satan would have him to be! This is often what God uses to get us to pray more and draw closer to Him by the trials we have in life! My family is having a lot of them, too! You all are in my prayers for Tim's healing in Jesus' healing virtue and for your peace while attending to him after he is home! Please pray for Tami as she will be going into the hospital Nov 7th for Hysterectomy surgery! Thank you for your prayers and you have mine in the sweet precious name of Jesus! Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, Please move quickly upon Tim and help him to heal quickly with no lasting damage done and with good care from the drs and nurses and please give Lisa peace and comfort in their trials and help her to give the care Tim needs and in her work and in whatever she needs to do in her home, her family and her job! We give You the Praise O, Lord for hearing and answering our prayers for our good and for Your purpose! Amen! Ma Betty

Prayed for him and will continue to pray for all of you.

How's your Hubby doing Lisa? HHH.

Surgery went well and he got to come home Sunday night. I reckon he is doing as well as can be expected at this point. He's really bunged up. Black & blue, scrapes, cuts, broken nose & broken wrist. Very sore. Thanks for asking!
