I did get to see some of the Clemson game (go Tigers!), but the rest of my day took a drastic turn from the direction I had planned it would go. That was all the football I got to see. No Bama... nothin. The house didn't get cleaned either. My girls night out was shortened and almost didn't happen at all. I ended up helping Tim on a project at my daughter's cabin late morning till early afternoon. Came home and jumped in the shower in hopes of getting ready for my night out a bit early so I could catch some of the other games on TV before leaving. Had just stepped out of the shower when my phone rings & it's Julie (my daughter) telling me to get up there (to her place) as soon as possible because Tim had fallen about 10 ft off the ladder and was hurt really bad. My son (Jason) had just gotten there to pick some things up from Julie and it was a blessing he came when he did. When I got there Tim was laying on the ground in a puddle of blood screaming in pain. His left wrist was clearly broken and turned out in a horrible position, He had hit his face & head and was bleeding profusely and his glasses were completely destroyed. He had several other places bleeding and both legs from the knees down were turning black and blue and beginning to puff up. I started to call 911 and he said he would refuse to go if they came because he wasn't going to pay a huge bill just to ride in an ambulance, so Jason & Julie loaded him in the back of his SUV while I came back to the house to change clothes and get my shoes. They took him right on back when I got him to the hospital. Looks like nothing is broken other than his wrist and it is a severe break. He will be having surgery in the morning (Sunday morning) to put it back together. Anyway, after they got him into a room and sedated, he insisted I go on and meet my friends to finish what was left of the night because he would be sleeping anyway. I did go ahead and meet up with them but it wasn't as much fun as I'd hoped for after all that had happened. Please be in prayer for Tim through all of this. And for the doctors & nurses as they do surgery and care for him. AND for ME as I tend to him after he gets home!!!! THANKS!
