For any of you who also own an E-Trac?

A couple of Questions:

1) I'm wondering if the E-Trac would be a complimentary machine to my SE?

2) Are there features missing on the SE that you gain on an E-Trac or vice versa?

3) How about stability, depth comparison, (the age old problem of) screen visibility, "seeing through iron" and anything else you might care to mention?

4) Has anyone found items using an E-Trac the SE missed?

Thank you!!!!

The better operator of each of the different machines will out perform the other. If you really want to get some factual information about the differences between the two machines, get Andy Sabisch's book, The Minelab Explorer E-Trac Handbook. It will answer all the questions you raise. In case you are going to use one of them. or already have, it will help you become even a better operator of the machine you have. The book is fun to read, but if you use it as a textbook and study it, you'll be a jump or two ahead of those who haven't read it. Jim
