F75, F75 LTD (Camo) and F75 SE (Black)

Are there many differences in the operation of the machines as far as stability , depth, and general hunting with them.
I mean other than the boost mode, and CL mode ... If you noticed anything can you please post it up ?. Thank you appreciate your time and efforts.

Elton, I haven't had all three, just the F 75 and now the LTD, but a friend of mine has the SE and between his and mine we can't see any difference....and as far as I know, the LTD and SE are the same, just different colors. I think this has all been hashed over before in other posts, but in brief, my LTD seems to be a little less emi affected, seems to have a tad more depth in the BP mode and to me seems to have a little tighter (less bouncy) tid then the F 75. The most noticeable thing to me is how well the LTD performs over tall grass. There simply seems to be no depth loss when having to hold the coil 3 and 4" above the ground. This, of course, is in the B P mode. And since getting my LTD, I never use the de mode anymore at all. Elton, I have been able to dig at least 6-7" deep targets in the B P mode with the 5" coil and a sen setting of 29. That also quiets the machine down when emi affected. HH jim tn

I'm trying to decide if an Se would have less EMI Issues than the F75 LTD..

I understand, EL. How does your T 2 and did your F 75 do in those same emi plagued spots that effect the LTD so bad? HH jim tn

The T2 had little problem adjusting out the EMI. A little lower sens, and it was good to go. And truthfully only on occassion did it even act up.
The F75 did act up, but you could sens down and it worked. The LTD on the other hand just won't run in most areas due to EMI. This includes the De Mode on the LTD. Lower sense, and a few other adjustments. I have switched coils around too, so it is not the coil. It's the sensitivity of the F75 LTD that makes it pretty hard to use in the big City. It does fine in the country...........but does like the iron on farm sights. So that gets a bit aggravating...Hence I was hoping to hear the SE had tamed the EMI issues with the great F75 series...

I don't think it would help Elton. Set it up with this info and it will help tons with EMI.
