For those who have also used a Nautilus

Metal detecting fever has overwhelmed me of late and I've bought both the SE and IIBa since Christmas. It was my first Nautilus and 2nd Explorer.

I really like this new SE and I'm also very impressed with the Nautilus, mainly because of the depth. Another thing I like about it (Nautilus) is the two tone (ear)system where you have one piece of information coming in one ear and a different piece of information coming in the other.

That got me to thinking how it would be if the Explorers would have the ferrous sounds coming in say the left ear and the conductivity coming in the right. I personally think I would like it. Just like the IIBa, it would take some getting used to, but it would be great to have that information withough having to look down. Then again, it might drive everyone nuts.

I would like it to be introduced as a menu option in case it did.

By the way, I first wished this before I ever knew about a Nautilus. I felt like it would be very useful when relic hunting.

Anyone else have any ideas about this?

Alton
