VLAD....there seems to be a common thread to the tone of your posts. Generally, readers here post with some degree of politeness and gratitude, any chance you can adopt this style ? <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
Tony.

The common thread to my posts is knowing ERIC FOSTER
about 26 years, so there are some jokes betwixt us.

No sweat, G.I.-sometimes ERIC starts talking in techo-ese, and he leaves all but a few far behind. I have nothing but the highest respect for him, and wish that one day some maker here in the states would get smart and put him on the payroll; unfortunately, right now what kills us is the exchange rate of $1.87 to the pd.
Many years ago I bought a pulse from him, and from that I consider all others to be toys, with the exception of MINELAB, which I can't afford to test. When ERIC came out with the 1st GOLDSCAN, I was one the 2 people to field test the prototype, and it was great. Many people don't know that P.I.s are adversely affected by negative ground minerals, and the GOLDSCAN would not only cancel them out, but would also discriminate small iron, like nails. And he has only gotten better with each new machine, almost in an algebraic progression, and my hat is off to him. If you want the best, go with a GOLDSCAN-5.

Thanks VLAD,
Your views mirror mine.
I currently use the Goldquest SS (which I can't talk high enough about) but need a second machine..looking to resurrect the Aquastar in the near future as water hunting is my area now.
If ever I get back into gold prospecting then the GS5 would be on top of my list.
Regards,
Tony.
