I wrote an article about the Desert Still and how to build it some years back. All you need is a clear plastic sheet, a rubber tube, and a container. One of these will produce a quart or more of water per day - enough to save your life.

Ive seen a prefab one made of plastic on the internet, out of Germany. It looks like a giant, conical cake tray, but does the same thing.
