How deep will the EX II correctly ID targets when using the digital mode and what have you noticed about readings on deeper targets. Thanks.
 
Well my deepest was a zinc penny at 11 inches in the sand at the beach. I have also gotten a penny at 10 in dirt here in VA and it was id right. Thats the best conditions.

Other times it would not lock on a zinc cent at 4 inches. Common is about 6 inches on silver 5 inches on clad.

It varies A LOT.
