Fors line carry bag or case solutions

Silver Pirate

New member
Hi all. So as you now know, I am a new Relic owner. It's one of the first detectors that I have owned that doesn't readily have a carry bag or case available for it (unless I have missed it or have not seen it yet). So I am very interested in what other Core/Relic users are using, or have come up with. I am thinking about a rifle/bow hard case that has that pluck and pull foam. With the slim design of the Fors line, I think they could easily fit in one of these type cases. I also now have 3 coils with lower rods. I would love to see what you guys are using.

I have seen a lot of guys using bow cases for hard case detector storage & transport.
I have an old pelican case but they are $$$$$.

Well,I went with another option. I picked this tactical bag up at Academy Sports for $69. Its a 36" length. Perfect for holding all my gear. It has backpack straps on the back, one large compartment, one medium compartment, and 3 external bags. Also has room to attach 2 more Molle bags on the end if you need extra storage. As it sits in the pictures, I have the Nokta Relic, middle rod, 10x5, 5", and 11x7 coils with the lower rods attached, users manual, Killer B headphones, digger, 2 pinpointers, batteries and charger, and more. Very padded and should protect it well.

Great bag. Carry straps to boot, that should make it well suited to carry into the woods for relic hunting.
Does it have a brand name and model number by any chance?
Cheers,
Drew.

Really like that Academy bag. Nice

Used it today for the first time. When I got to my permission, it was easy to pull the machine out and assemble, and all my stuff was in the pockets. I thing I'm going to like it.

I have a plan for mine that will take time.
I have a place by me called the foam factory. They sell all kinds of foams like you find in your first post hard cases. My plan is to get cases like your first post, then go to the foam factory and buy the foam pieces and they do custom cutouts. I'm thinking one solid piece on the bottom of the case, then pick a piece for the middle and they will cut out the custom shapes, then buy the egg crate type stuff for the top of the lid. Or something like that.
We will see how it goes. I found some aluminum cases on an auction site for an ok price.
Glad to see you found a solution
