Fossil

Don't know what it is, but it looks like an incredible fossil! Nice find....let us know if you find out what it is.
 
I think you have a real jewel there> Looks to be a Prehistoric broken egg, with a fossil embryo-intact.I would look in the library or Book store, for a fossil record book on eggs, and see if you find anything like it.Or Web search fossil egg collections.NICE I once found a 10,000 yr-old flint drill right on top of the ground MD'n, and a part of a stone idol from 265Ad.
