Found 1 silver and 6 wheaties today!

the rain left sat. a washout and today was only able to hunt for about 4 hrs. The ground was super saturated but I decided to try out a new 1803 site. I found a 1962D almost uncirculated rosie, 1940 nickel, 1956,1945,1925,1920,1919,1909 wheaties, two 1950 play coins, and a gold plated button. When I dug the smaller play coin, i saw the glint of gold and for a split second thought that I had a gold coin. Then I felt the weight and saw further detail - haha not today!

will be interested to see next hunt without all the water. HH!

Not too bad Ocean 7. Just wait till it dries up a bit and then maybe you will find some old Cents and maybe an old Bust or Seated Coin. The finds you did make is alot better than going out and getting skunked for 4 Hours and just remember, you ain't done with the site yet. Good Luck and HH.

Hey, Nice finds! I also found one of those Grimland Tokens here in Seattle buy could find no history on it. Do you?

thanks! No i haven't gotten around to researching it yet but will let you know if i have any success. Gotta laugh when you start finding play money that's 56 years old! i believe it was for kids to play with and lose in your yard. *L*
