Found a 1910 "V" and a nice little horse at the beach today; sorry....the pics are in the opposite order of how I wanted to post them...I'm still lear

this is a pic of all my "V"s that I have found since I started detecting in May , 2005....I need to get out and do some ground hunting so that I can find one of these in decent condition...all are so pitted ...too bad

This horse statue was difficult to recover...sounded like scrap metal; looked initially like wire mesh until I picked it up and gave it a closer look

We don't see too many water hunters that find the old stuff! But we sure like seeing your finds! :)

You sure find the neatest old stuff. I get a V nickel about once every 10 years. The horse is neat also, thanks for the pics, steve in so az
 
Was just informed that the little horse is a collectible from the early 1900's...these were a series of toy prizes for youngsters..
