found a 1917 "Buffalo " yesterday..

I like those nickels...would have welcomed a "V" nickel..maybe next time
I found this one about 5 " in dry sand near an area of reconstruction ( bulldozers, etc.) at a popular beach..I think a lot of dirt from "yesteryear" was dug up along with old coins ...got to get back there.

Here's a couple of pics..nothing spectacular...the date is not visible on the photo, but it is 1917 ( no mint mark)
