Found both in the ocean against some rocks

Can someone tell me please...the significance of the number "41" on the bottom of the Ruppert Brewery bottle?

And I have no clue as to what the brown bottle is, but it will fit nicely on my kitchen shelf with my other tiny bottles

Was at a park yesterday...thought you might enjoy some photos of the area..I plan to hunt there soon.was just reconnnoitering the area..."casing " it out!
thanks for looking

Great pic's and great bottles!!! I think I found a small green bottle just like that! When I get home I will check. I wish I had a colonial island I could search!!!! LUCKY!!!

very lucky to have an island to hunt on......good luck when you decide to go . nice finds on the bottles...

Lorraine, the river is really pretty and all the trees and such! WOW, your own Island by using a boat to get there! Hope you find lots of Colonial coins and relics! Good Luck and God Bless! The 41 on the bottle's bottom may be the year it was made???

Yes, I hear the target sound and with my scoop I dig under the rocks; it is difficult sometimes and my arm hurts because of the weight of some of the rocks, but my scoop is strong and upturns those rocks well.

I maybe should have brought a shovel, but thought I would use the scoop because that 's what I use in the rocks at the ocean's edge ..Those rocks hide lots of secrets .

The 41 might be the year it was made? Can you see a mold line on the side that goes all the way to the top?

Yes...On both sides of the bottle there is a thin line going all the way to the top...what is the significance of that? Thanks

I think it means it is a manufactured bottle and not handblown like the real old bottles......but I'm sure Mike, me son, can tell you more and it was probably made in 1941!

Sorry, Mike, I butted in on your question for an answer, but I posted the same question above your post, so give Ma 40 lashes with a wet noodle! Love ya in the Lord! :)

God Bless!
