Found a couple silvers today

Detected back where I found the 3 cent piece. Takes a while to find a keeper, but there's definitely some there:biggrin:
Here's what I dug up while looking for the better stuff.

I didn't take any on-site pics because there were people around and I don't like to attract any more attention than I have to :ninja:
When I picked up the first silver of the day and saw "one dime" within the wreath, I was pretty happy. Turned out to be a 1898 Barber dime:clapping:
Later, I found a 44 Merc, a religious medal and a few wheaties.

All in all, not a bad day:cheers:

One more thing before I finish. I had asked for permission 7-8 years ago to hunt what could be a great spot, but was turned down:sadwalk: Today, I found out that there is a new owner:thumbup: Nobody was home when I stopped in, but I'm quite happy to have some hope again. I'd say I get permission about 80 - 85% of the time. Since I was just denied access to a different spot on Friday,I'd say I can be optimistic;)
This place saw thousands of people long before they stopped making coins out of silver:biggrin:
I'll try again on Wednesday or Thursday... Wish me luck:smoke:
Have a good one,
Matt
