Found a couple things today..

..the ground is like dust, while being hard to dig into. If that makes any sense.
Anywho, Found this stuff today. 17D, 19 Mercury dimes. Dateless buffalo. A 1883 or 1893 Indian. I'll give her a bath and find out.
I usually wouldn't post common finds but this forum just seems to not have many posts of finds anymore. Whats up with that? Used to be the major forum for finds around. Could it be the hot summer? Jim

I love silver...no matter how old it is....and I wouldn't complain about those finds any day of the week. Congrats!

Not sure why there are so few posts of actual finds...I wondered that myself. Seems like only you and I contribute in that department *hah* Maybe we have too much time on our hands!?!?

Ever since they changed the format here it has been slower. I for one quit posting. It just isnt very user friendly now. All my posts on the old photo forum are gone and of course all my old postings on the old Minelab and relic forums are gone too. Then there was the find of the month free coil fiasco. Many people who won myself included had to fight to get our Minelab 8" coil prize. But that is past now and I am giving this forum another try.

..on the old forum. Went back a few years. I like the old format as well. Oh well, I own a explorer so I post here. JIm
