Found a few more finds today.

Got out and found a few finds today. I found an 1884 Canadian Dime, 2 Indian Heads dated 1887 and 1901, 2 Wheats dated 1919-s and 1945-d and a 1959-d Memorial Penny. The Canadian Dime and the 1887 Indian Head were in the same hole with the round item that is pictured in the Misc. Pic below. I was getting a wierd signal that read between 8-10 on Digital and was 8" or so deep. Every once in a while there was some other sound but I couldn't distinguish what it was. I decided to dig it and when I put the Probe into the hole it gave me a signal but it was mostly a null. I was detecting with 8Reale and he came over and asked what I had found. As I dug out a bit more dirt, I told him most likely Iron junk. But when I put the Probe into the hole it gave a high tone and then I said maybe not and then out popped the Dime. At first it looked like a Barber but then I soon realized it was an old Canadian Dime. Then I stuck the Probe into the hole and it sounded off a medium tone. Then an Indian Head popped out of the hole. I stuck the Probe back into the hole and then recieved a low tone that I thought was going to be a Nickel. That is when the round item came out. I think someone told me that these were part of a shoe. It is concaved and flat on the bottom and it has a post with a round ball on the top. The detector seen the Round Item and couldn't give a proper signal due to it being in the same hole. So next time you get a strange signal, dig it because you could pass up something like I found today. Good to see you got out for a while today, like that old Canadian dime you got.

Those batteries still doing good for you. If they are doing good maybe we better get more as they seem to last for along time between charges and for the price they are cheap.
