while I was detecting at a old school site. The ring is a mans ring and gold in color. It is marked <span style="background-color:#ffff00;">14k Crescent.</span> <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug"> Can any one tell me what crescent gold is? This is the first one I found marked that way. It also had three very small clear stones, do not know if they area diamonds or not.

The word cresnet when associated with jewlery means that the piece has <span style="background-color:#ffff00;">curved designs </span>on it unlike a man's plain gold wedding band.
If you look up crestent gold on Google search you'll see all kinds of designs with curves on them from rings to ear pieces.
