If this works, I found away to upload photos to this forum.
Go to photobucket.com. It's a free Internet down loading service. You have to register. After you download your images click the "IMG Code" box, come back to this forum and right click mouse and choose paste. The IMG Code should appear.

These two photos are from a new area I found in central Arkansas to relic hunt.

With my Cibola, I found a 50 cal mini ball that was never fired. I found three 45 cal musket balls that had been fired. There are 3 locally made chisels to split logs with. They were about 10' to 12' apart and in a strait line as if they had split their last log on that spot. There's one and one half horse shoes, Wagon parts Horse tac, tractor parts.

A curious thing I found is a cast iron device with a patten but the part with the patton number broke off. The Paton date but the year broke off. On top it reads " OONOMIST" but the first letter or letters is broke off.
It would appear that it was to be put in hot coals until it got hot and then you could put some liquid in it, close the lid and a mist would come out of a nozzle on one end. The other end probably had a handle to handle the hot device.

I put a couple of photos in the whatsit forum, maby they can give an answer.

I found a ton of bullets while looking for hot spots, thats when I found the mini ball and musket balls. I really like this new place because their is very little new trash.

One thing about metal detectorist is that we have the quietest weed eaters.
