Found american military botton in mexico with x terra 705

Hello, i found this boton in Mexico with my x terra 705, information will help a lot , just cant find it in internet, and the back it says extra quality and some little stars
 
Could be Spanish-American war. It's pre-WW I for sure.

That is a very interesting find, because of where you found it .........let us know what you learn about it. Good recovery!!!
 
Look it up on line. The U.S. Army was there in force twice. 1848, Mexican war. We one, beat the hell out of them. Then again in 1916, to chase Poncho Villa, we didn't do so good this time. We never found him. During the 19Th century , The U.S. Calvary went across the Rio Grand a few times. Research it.
