So.... I received my new Safari last week and have gone through a set of batteries
as of today.... yeah!

My son and I went out and detected around an old 1800's mission site in one of our forested
areas in North East Washington state. Walking along a very old trail on the side of a forested
hill, I happened across this ring. It seems like it's made out of pewter as it's not magnetic.

It was about 8-10" deep under pine foliage.

Do you think this is a period ring for the 1800's or a kids ring made out of pot metal? By
the way, it's very small. Definitely a petite finger. Thanks for any input you might have.

I can't help you with that question but it sure looks old. You must have gotten all excited when you knew it was a ring. Watch it be Martha Washington's ring she had as a little girl and be worth $200,000. You never know.
