Found cool Ford Model A part!!

I got permission to hunt where an old house used to be. I had about an hour last night before dark and just went to scope it out. All I could find was where a cellar was. I fired up the LTD and started looking. I first found an old ladies compact lid or something and then I got a great sounding signal hoping is was a silver dollar but it was very cool anyway. I didn't know what part of a Ford it came from. I thought it might have been the center piece of a steering wheel. It was getting dark and a pack of Coyotes were close so I went home and posted it on the Whatzit forum and Caroline Phil sent me the pics below. I looked it up and it is a bumper clamp cover off of a Model A Ford made between Apr of 1928 and May of 1929. In the Model A picture the bumper clamp is in the center of the front bumper. I love to find stuff like this and can't wait to get back to this place to see what else is there. Thanks for looking and have a happy Thanksgiving, HH Randy
