found my first gold ring

scorpion

New member
Found this 10k gold ring with small diamond at an old beach on a pond. It was 6" deep. The AT pro found it easily. I love this detector I cant put it down.lol

Most excellent...everyone remembers their first. You, my friend are hooked, and that's great.

Hey scorpion do you remember your VDI number for that ring?

Yeah, that would be nice to know. A quick wave of the ring across the coil will refresh a memory.:)

Well good for you! Finding gold is always a thrill.

Great find...I found a few off them in the past too (small 10k rings) if I remember right the VDI was 47, and 49. There's more coming just keep hunting.

Awesome! Yeah that first one and all the rest following give a guy an addictive tingly feeling! That Pro sure bangs on rings, great confidence in it not missing them.

Nothing better than gold in the hole, unless it's your first gold in the hole!

Good dig on your first gold. Many of us can attest that finding them never grows old and we want to find more and more. Good job and congratulations. HH jim tn

Thanks guys i want to detect everyday its awesome. The signal on my AT pro was bouncing from 45-52. It never locked on to one number.

Yeah usually when it's down 6' the VDI won't lock, but will have a nice tone (sound) to it. Forgot to mention" Welcome to the Forum!"
