Found some soft ground this weekend and...

there were coins underneath!!! I pounded two parks and came home with-10 indians including an 1871 and 1873, 3 mercs, 2 Barbers including the nice 1899-O and 31 wheats. Lots of holes and lots of fun!!!

Nice finds! That sure is awesome to find old coins in that kind of shape, isn't it. I wish the parks around here were still loaded like that, but me and a few others have cleaned them out pretty good. By the way it looks like not too many people detect where you are and I wouldn't wait too long to go back to sites like those. There only around as long as the coins keep coming and when there gone, there gone. So get back out there as soon as possible and post some more excellent finds.:detecting:

:rage:

Our's isn't frozen but I'm sure there's no place around that will give up finds like that in an outing. Nice finds and that's more I.H. in one day than I get all year. Way to go.

Nice Digs Neal....I need to find some soft ground up here too

Hey jb, I have been averaging about 40-50 Indians in a year. Where are you located at?

Do they make heated hand grips for the Explorer yet?
