some of these auctions for common dates and mint marks are taking a $30-$50 coin and going for $225 in a slabbed case. Of course they are MS66 or higher grade. If the grading company adds "DMPL", deep mirror proof like, then it's Katy bar the door. However I have seen XF grade coins being auctioned as BU by a dealer that has over 2000 auctions and 100% feedback. As the Romans said let the buyer beware. FEEBAY just raised their rates on small ticket items. That ought to drive the little guys away. They did reduce some fees but the net overall is an INCREASE. FEEBAY-we don't care about you just your money. There are some bargains in FEEBAY but they are getting harder to win.

Nothing wrong with that. The way this economy is headed I'm going to hold on to my silver. May sell some of my gold if it stays above 900 for a while but will keep most of it unless gold hits 1200. Wish I had bought more silver when it was 4.60 as I knew it was a safe buy. :)
