Hi All:
As some of you know, I have been working for more than a year, designing and building headphones for my Sovereign Elite. My goal has been to squeeze out every bit of information contained in the audio output of my Sovereign. After many attempts, I think I've I finally discovered the right combination of elements. They are the coolest headphones I have ever built, and I think their performance is outstanding.
But I have a problem. On April 20th Jane and I are heading back to Thailand, and I have to get rid of my older experimental headphones before we go. Rather than toss them into the Econolodge dumpster, I came up with this great idea: give them away to my friends on the Sovereign forum. Fortunately, I had enough parts to re-build them with the same components that I use in my final version. They look like the one in the photo, and perform exactly the same as mine.
So here's the deal: I only have a few pair, but If you're interested in trying them out, please send me an e-mail ASAP, and I'll send you a free pair. All I ask in return is that you give them a good work-out, and post your opinion about them on this forum. There isn't much time left, so please respond within the next 5 days. I need to pack them up and ship them to you before we leave the States.
I would like to emphasize that these headphones are not for sale, and that you will be helping me with my research. I can't afford to buy every headphone on the market, and my hunting experience is limited to the beach, so this feedback is very important to me. Your opinions should also be very valuable to the headphone manufacturers, as well as to the regular members of the forum. We can all learn from the experiences of others.
E-mail me at:
funkyoldude@hotmail.com
and put "Headphones" in the subject box. I need your forum on-line name and your mailing address, along with a brief description of your experience with your Sovereign (Sovereign model(s), any modifications, headphones you are now using, how long you have been hunting with your Sovereign and the type of hunting you do, i.e Coins, Relics, Nuggets, Beach, etc.). This info is only for my own use. They can string me up by the thumbs and I will never tell a thing.
That's it.
Thanks for your help.

You been quiet too long.
Figured you were spending your time down in the laboratory on dark stormy nights working on some evil plan.

That have used other top quality headphones, just to see how they will compare to signals quality.
This is one item I feel is very inportant to any detectorist is to have good headphones as without them a good detector can become bad detector.
