Frequency Adjustment

Hi all,

When I go to tune the freq. on my Infinium i do not here any change? I turn the knob to freq adjust and as i am doing this the threshold sound is going up then drops right off. I then turn the freq. knob in slow increments and nothing changes. Do you think there is a problem? Is there one particular setting i should use for est depth?

The pulse operating frequency is adjusted in increments with the Discrimination knob; usually starting from 0 "Zero position" while the threshold knob is locked in the Frequency Adjust position.
Once a steady operating frequency is obtained leave the Disc. knob in that position while returning the Threshold knob from Frequency adjust position bach to app 3 on the threshold.
Now return the Disc. knob bach to 0 discrimination.
Now do the ground balancing with the Auto Ground Track knob in the lock position.
After that searching can commence.
