Frequency of Silver Tone and Hearing Loss

TURNMASTER

Active member
Does anybody recall the frequency of the tone of Silver in 4 tones? I will look in my manual when I get home from work. Just thought maybe someone would know right of the top of their head. I got my hearing test back and I have a significant loss in the 4 & 6khz range on the left (40%) and 6 & 8khz (35%) on the right.

I am wondering how this affects my Silver count. I am thinking not as much with the Xterra but more with the Explorer.

Highest tonefrequency used is 950 Hz so no problems there. 4 kHz is a very highpitched tone. I found a little helpfull tool online to try different frequencies: http://www.digital-recordings.com/cgi-bin/www-dfg-sine.cgi .
