thinking about purchasing a detector for the local beaches here in Indiana
any suggestions?
 
I use both my Omega and F 75 LTD on fresh water beaches and both work great. Any of what you have should work fine. Unless, of course, you plan on wadding. What part of Indiana are you? Family and I spent a couple years each with my job in Lafayette and Evansville. HH jim tn
 
Sorry, yes, plan on getting in the water and wadding around
Terre Haute, Indiana here, about 70 miles west of Indy
 
I would go Garrett AT Pro for going in the water. Of course, if FT comes out with a waterproof detector, I would side with it. The AT Pro can go 10' in the water.
