Upon Christ as our substitute and surety was laid the iniquity of us all. He was counted a transgressor, that He might redeem us from the condemnation of the law. The guilt of every descendant of Adam was pressing upon His heart. The wrath of God against sin, the terrible manifestation of His displeasure because of iniquity, filled the soul of His Son with consternation. All His life Christ had been publishing to a fallen world the good news of the Father

Abraham is the key...he is the one God chose to be the "father" of ALL nations.
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all share in Abraham's linage.
When we as God's children finally understand that we are all brothers and sisters and treat each other as such,
then this evil world will be a world Divine.
Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy grant us Peace.

Yes ... Abraham was the 'father' of the Israelites and all nations were blessed because of him. However there is a 'however' in that Islam and Judaism do not accept God's Son, Jesus Christ, as Lord & Savior, of their lives. The follow verses, from God's Word, clearly show who Abraham's children are:

Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 3:6
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

Galatians 3:7
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Galatians 3:9
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:

Galatians 3:14
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Galatians 3:16.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:29
And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Amen, Martin...thanks for answering mel9861's post! If we don't have Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, then we cannot enter into God's glorious heaven, for Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and only through Him will we live eternally with God Jehovah, for Jesus is God born in the flesh who took our sins upon Himself and redeemed us from the curse of sin but we must believe in Him or we are not saved and redeemed from our sins and are still sinners and if we confess to believe in Jesus but still go on sinning and living as the world lives, then we are not truly saved and purified by Jesus' precious, shed blood! WE are saved unto doing good works for Jesus, Who is the Messiah, God with us by His forgiving grace and our repentance!

Only Christians are the Children of God Jehovah and of Abraham's seed, for in Jesus and him we are heirs to His beautiful, golden Kingdom of peace, joy and love forever more! Amen! Ma Betty
