Today Me and a friend got out for about 3 hours and found a few more goodies. I found 3 Silver Dimes, 2 which were Merc's dated 1936 and 1942-d and a Canadian dated 1959. I also found a Indian Head Penny dated 1903 along with 13 more Wheat Pennies. The dates for them are 1912,1917,1920,1929-d,1937-d,1940-d,1941-d,1944-s,1945,1945-s,1946-d,1947-s,and 1951-d. The Indian is pictured with the Wheats below. My friend found some Wheats,a Merc,a 1907 Barber Dime and a 1887 Seated Dime. He is on fire so far this year and has 30+ silver already. WTG BarberBoy!!! I wish he could post some of his finds but he doesn't have the equipment yet. Just thought I would let you all know what he found also. Now to see what we find at the Civil War Battle Site tomorrow up by Tappen,ND. Hope to have some finds to post and good luck this weekend to all you other detectorist's.[attachment 25019 Silver.png][attachment 25020 IndianandWheats..png]

Great finds. Rick told me you awesome with your Explorer. I believe he's right. I didn't know there were any civil war sites up there. That's interesting.

Actually it is a site called the Battle Of Big Mound and it involved a few thousand troups battling it out against a few thousand Indians. It started when the Indians shot a doctor in the back and that is why the battle took place. So I guess it really isn't a Civil War type Site, But it did involve many troops and it happened in the same time frame.
