Mike, we are heading off for outback Western Australia at the end of June, provided my wife's health is OK by then. She had a heart operation almost three months ago and we won't get a clearance from the Doctor until then.

Quite a stir created by this one. Up for your interpretation I would guess. One thing (not the only thing) that bothers me, is the question of what would the word "emergency" be defined as? History tells us "emergencies' HAVE BEEN CREATED by this administration. Some have been fabricated, but "don't let a good emergency go to waste" has been their mantra. This one (Executive Order) fulfills his statement in his The State Of The Union Address earlier this year, and that was to consolidate Congressional powers to the executive office. It totally bypasses Congress, The Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution. The Declaration of Independence states: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE HAS NEVER BEEN REPEALED. It certainly puts a new slant on the oath of office as required by the Constitution.(Article II, Section 1) "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United Stares and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of The United States." (Please read the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States.)
Our Founders established this government with both a strong dependence upon religious principles and a clear limitation on federal powers.
America now is not America; it came to an end quickly. The government owns and has control over EVERYTHING, your rights, your freedoms, all your possessions, everything gone in one fell swoop of a pen. The President holds ALL the power. What would call a nation like that? It certainly is not a republic. May this country turn back to God and MAY GOD SAVE AMERICA.
