Was out and about without anything to do this weekend, so I put the detector in the car. Dropped my daughter off at orchestra and hit a nearby grade school that I have driven past a few dozen times. Didnt find a lot, but it was nice to get out. Found the Canadian $1.00 there. After a bit I drove out to an abandoned racetrack that I remember going to as a kid. The place was taken over by the city and marked as a wetland wildlife refuge. Found mostly junk, but did stumble across a few good targets in what was the parking area...a couple of dimes from the 70's and a '66 quarter. I hope to go back again and hit the parking area more.
Most of my time, lately, has been taken up by yard work. I havent even been on the internet much, which is a rarity for me. Here are a couple of photos of what I have been tending to instead...our flowers.

Have a good one, everybody, and keep doing good....thats what God wants from us.

Great pics of the flowers! Glad you got out and found some treasure!
I know you had fun! :)

Good digs and very nice flowers. Nancy takes care of the flowers here so I have the best of both worlds. However, the flowers you show cannot survive here so it's nice to see them. Glad you got out - good luck when you go back there, Steve in so az
