General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

It's a sad day for me to have to list my detector on the for sale site... Unfortunately I have to... I was diagnosed with cancer back in October 2014 and I've spent a lot of time in the doctor's office and in the hospital for surgery. My recover time is going to be long, and the chances of me getting out to hunt again are very slim. My insurance is covering a larger part of my treatment but the bills continue to grow. I'm selling my detector only because it will help payoff some of my medical bills. I've had the CTX 3030 for almost a year now and there is still 2 full years left as of around March 7, 2015 on the warranty. I've used the machine for hunting in mostly school yards and play grounds or public parks. The coil cover has some normal surface scratches from use. The screen still has the protective film from the factory on it. I have taken great care of this machine. It was wiped down after each trip... Everything that came with the detector from the factory is included. I also have the 6 inch coil that I bought separately that will be included in the deal along with a brand new unopened minelab pro-25 pinpointer. The pro-25 has never been opened and it has never been used. Also... The Koss headphones that came with the CTX were never used. I used my iPods that came with my iPhone. Retail with everything here would be around $2900. I'm asking $2150 for everything here plus the cost of shipping to anywhere in the CONUS. If you have any question please let me know. Paypal add 2%. Very sorry to hear of your health issues and wish you a speedy recovery. Life is all about priority's and it sounds like you have yours right where you need them. Good luck with the sale.

I have a similar story that I will share with you.

I bought my first CTX in Dec of 2012 and in march of 2013 I was diagnosed with cancer .I sold my CTX to help with the doctor bills that I knew were coming and not being sure of the outcome felt that it was the best thing to do at the time so I understand your situation completely.. I had my first operation in May of 2013 and after a rough recovery period I had to have a 2nd surgery. I have been cancer free since that operation and I bought my 2nd CTX this last Dec.

I hope that you have a full speedy recover and one day you will own another machine of your choice and be able to enjoy this great hobby again.

Not sure where you are from but I highly recommend the cancer research hospital in Chicago illinois.. these people are absolutely amazing and when my mom was diagnosed that's where we went. They take care of there patients and can help with the medical expenses. I hope you recover fully and kick the cancer.. thoughts and prayer friend..
