I just bought this on a whim and realized that I really didn't need another detector in my financial situation. This hobby is just addicting and I'm always looking for bigger and better detectors.
I did assemble this detector but I have never gone hunting with it. It has the camo design, which was only available for a brief period during the 2009 Holiday season. They are becoming harder and harder to find. I like the camo because it won't show the dirt like the standard black color will. It comes with the stock 11" DD coil and the additional 5" coil. It comes with 4 double A batteries, (which last for about 40-50 hours according to the manual), and a rain cover for the control box.
You've probably heard a lot of great things about this detector already. It's light, it has the fastest recovery speed of any high end detector out there (I wish my Minelab had this), and the exclusive "boost" mode gives the detector several more inches of detection depth. This mode, as well as the "cache mode" are not available on the original F-75.
Non-camo colored F75 LTD's are scheduled to come out in June or July, and they need to be pre-ordered right now for $1249. Why pay more and then wait for it to arrive? The only difference is going to be the color.
I'll take $1075 shipped to your door. I paid $1200 for it, but willing to take a loss due to the fact that I opened it up already.
