FS/FT ... Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro

Monte

Well-known member
I have a brand new Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro, the top of their 'Pro' series models, with an MSRP of $449. You can read about it here in the Owner's Manual to see the many features it offers. ... http://www.detecting.com/manuals/10-31/MPROLR_10.28.14-Reader.pdf

It is new with all the paperwork and original colorful box, and I will ship it in a plain brown box to keep it looking good. I got it with some other detectors to use in a seminar I did for demonstration purposes. Mainly table-top display and demo, and I haven't even used it more than 5 minutes over grass.

How much, you might ask? Well, make me a reasonable and fair cash offer, and figure shipping is only going to be in the lower 48 US states. I only accept CASH or a US Postal Money Order for payment.

Would I be interested in a trade? Most certainly, but just as the Land Ranger Pro is brand new, and I pamper all my detectors, I will ONLY be interested in the following detectors that are in very, very clean, undamaged to pristine condition ... and they MUST function properly.

I would consider any of the following models ... ONLY.

Tesoro Bandido II or Bandido II µMAX

Tesoro Silver Sabre µMAX

Tesoro Eldorado (µMAX version)

Tesoro Euro Sabre

Teknetics DigiTek

I will also consider any one, or multiples of, the following accessory items as a partial trade. Tell me what you have and how much $$$ you will add to make the trade.

I want/need ONLY ONE Tesoro 8X9 white coil cover.

I would like Up To THREE (3) of the 5-pin 6" Concentric coils (Tesoro calls them 5.75), and they must have a Coil Cover on them.

I especially am interested in finding an 'original' white 8" donut coil, such as what came on a Royal Sabre or the 'original' Bandido. This is NOT the same coil as the white 8" for the Outlaw. It was a slightly smaller/thinner design, but I want one that is in excellent condition, mainly a white color and not a discolored yellowish shade.

Any New, unused Makro Pointers or Nokta Pointers will be considered in a trade-in deal as well as any New, unused Detneknix Xpointer except No Black colored models. It can be Yellow, Pink, Orange or Camo, and all Pinpointers must be new-in-the-box with all accessories they come with.

One or Two brand new, unused Lesche Diggers.

That's about it. Look at the Land Ranger Pro, read the Owner Manual to see the neat features it offers, then ... consider a very fair, reasonable CASH offer .. OR .. describe any or all of the items I have listed that would be of interest to me in a trade and include any cash difference you'll put with them, and ..... E-MAIL ME DIRECTLY at:

monte@stinkwaterwells.com or you can use monte@ahrps.org

I will respond quickly as I am trying to get some detectors I want, or friends and family want, and the coils/accessories I need. Catch me now with a reasonable offer as I am eager to deal and easy to please. :D

HEY! This is a Brand New Land Ranger Pro and I am not asking for what I am in it. I am asking for the best reasonable offer ... OR ... I'll gladly consider any of the older Tesoro's or a new DigiTek as trade or partial trade. No junk, just pampered and good-working specimens. I am easy-to-please so shoot me an offer!!

I can't understand the absence of an offer, Monte. I think people believe that the LRP is a typical Bounty Hunter. You should know, if you used it, it's a Fratbros similar to the Teks/Fishers style and nothing like the muffler on a stick type. Lots of similarities of the ETP and the new Fs, IMO.

Hightone, I think you're correct about people's misconception with the Bounty Hunter title. Maybe they should have just kept ALL BH models lower end and funny looking, push them through all the mass marketing outlets, and concentrate their design efforts on the Teknetics and Fisher lines which have, historically, been noted for higher-quality, better-performing detectors.

I had one of the Land Ranger Pro's to tinker with and was surprised at all the features they put in it and the performance it provides. I only wished they would have marketed this model with a smaller-size coil, in the 6" to 8" range, round and Concentric design, because it really is presented to a market that is basically made up of what I call "Traditional Coin Hunters." The part-timers who mainly hit local parks and schools and picnic areas, etc. and do not need the 11" BiAxial size search coil.

This particular unit I got in a trade deal as I have been thinning out my heavier, less used detectors. It's new with it's colorful box and all, and should make a lot of people satisfied with what it offers.

Last week the big 'K' outfit in Florida had them priced at about ±$284 but I just checked and they are back at $404, have the suggested MSRP of $449, and I am entertaining any reasonable cash/postal money order offer. I am in it $375 and am flexible so someone can outfit a friend, family member or their own arsenal with a very good Coin Hunting detector with a lot of easy-to-adjust features for a reasonable amount.
