This detector is an excellent and deep coinshooter. I'm only selling it because of financial need and it's priced to sell.
This unit is problem-free and works great, it shows wear from usage as you can see from the pictures. I did have one of the battery cover doors come open after a few times of use so now I put tape across the battery doors to make sure they stay shut and have never had a problem since. The battery doors are not broken, it's just that the closing snaps don't hold real tightly. I've read that this is a common issue with the DeLeon and in no way does it affect performance, but I did want to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. The coil cover shows wear, but the coil itself is clean having been protected by a coil cover.
I carefully wrapped gaffers tape around the sponge handle to protect it and give it a better grip, but you can take it off easily if desired since gaffers tape leaves no residue when removed.
