In the late 60's and early 70's the Metrotect Metal Detector was the leading edge in metal detectors. I used the Metrotect while hunting the Richmond Va. battlefields. Several years ago I was able to purchase a used Metrotect. There was some coil issues with the unit. Metrotect, which is still in business, was contacted and the unit was shipped to them for repair. They advised that the coil could not be repaired, however their tect person had found a new coil head for the unit. After receiving it back from Metrotect I attached a handle (the one Gary Williams-Hanover Brass designed years ago) to the unit. The unit operates on a 9V battery and is in perfect working condition. I'm asking $300.00 as is or will trade for a lesser amount and two week end hunts in the Richmond, Va. area for me and my hunting partner. Thanks TomB
