General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

FT/ Fisher F70/F75 10" Concentric Coil

This coil came with my F70 that I recently bought used! the detector and the coil was sent to Fisher Service department and gone over on April 8 2015. They did some very minor service work to the unit and in the list of correction made it states a "New Coil Connector" was installed.
After I got the detector back I found and bought an11" DD coil which seems to be my coil of choice for the more open areas.
Now, I'm looking for a coil for smaller more trashier areas and thinking that the little 3.5"X 6.5" concentric would be a good one for the plans I have.

So, if anybody has the F75/F70 6.5" elliptical coil and would like to trade it for a 10" concentric then send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.
My coil is in very good condition!

Not sure why they would have to put a new coil connector on when it was fine. I never had a problem . Maybe to get more money from you. Idk GS

That F70 and the 10" coil is nothing short of "Sweet" I don't think for a second that the detector ever had a noticeable performance problem! it may have had an un-noticeable problem with a resistance value on a circuit test, which could have been fixed by trimming off the cable and re-soldering the original connector, but I doubt that the factory SD recycles the old connectors.

As far as the 10" concentric coil goes, I did the same thing with the Omega I had, it came with two coils, the 11"DD and the 10" concentric, once I started using the 11" DD in a few months I traded off the 10" I think its more about my style and my area that I use the 11" vs the 10" if I had to deal with more rusty bottle caps I may have used the 10" concentric's more. In any case this coil should make somebody a very nice one and it being recently through the factory service department and given a new connector and a clean bill of health is just a little security with the deal.

Also, if I don't find a trade for this coil in a few days I most likely will offer it up for sale. If I had the extra money I would just buy the 6.5" elliptical and keep this one, but that's not how it is at this point in time.

I had two offers to my listing, one wanted to buy, and another one wanted to sell!
So, the coil has been sold!
and I'm no longer looking for a 6.5" concentric coil.
