Funeral tomorrow

DK

New member
A fellow that Joan and I used to go to church with died Tuesday. He was 78. He had been on kidney dialysis for a couple of years. We taught Sunday School together and served in other ministries together. Pray for his wife Wanda as she goes through this tough time in her life. Charles was saved and now he is pain free and with our Lord and Savior. The funeral is tomorrow afternoon.

Praying for peace and comfort from our Lord for the family and all! Amen! Ma Betty

Funeral went well today. Was at my former church and the Pastor gave a good message. Six members of the family got saved at the end of the funeral. I think it is great when salvation is preached at a funeral. Continue to pray for Wanda as she is struggling with Charles' death, even though she knows he is in heaven.

Praying for Wanda to have God's peace and comfort as Jesus holds her close in His loving arms! She will need prayer and encouragement for quite a while, as it is very painful to lose a spouse whether by divorce or death, for a divorce is the death of a marriage! My sister-in-law, Wanda, had a really hard time when Larry died and she still hurts at times when she goes to funerals or remembers some things that happened in their lives! If it wasn't for Jesus and many prayers lifting her up, I don't think she would have made it through the grief and be with us now! It really took a lot out of her but she was working so that helped to keep her busy to not dwell on it so much! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Praying for the family. How wonderful that Salvation was preached during the funeral. My mother-in law requested that be done when she passed away from cancer. It was during that funeral that GOD really started dealing with me and I was saved two weeks later.
