G2+ and the 10" concentric coil

I was thinking about buying the 10" concentric coil for my G2+, Should I bother? Is there anything different as far as performance compared to the 11" DD? Does it work on the G2+?
 
The 19 kHz machines were designed to use DD coils only. A Greek series concentric will work but diminished performance should be expected. I used one briefly on my F19 and ID stability was seriously impaired.
