G2 for relics

I know some of you are using the G2 for relic hunting. What kind of depth are you getting in average soil on say a 58 cal. bullet or a eagle button? I know there are a lot of factors involved but I am just looking for a general depth and to find out if you are satisfied with the machine for relic hunting, from what I have read the machine was originally designed to find gold but has turned out to be a decent relic machine. I would like to hear what G2 owner have to say about it.............Thanks, Bill in NC

Bill, So far I've gotten 8-10" on 3 ringers & coat buttons. Pistol bullets and cuff buttons to 6-8 inches. But remember, that depth is NOT the issue with the G2, but un masking of non ferrous targets from the iron is really what the G2 shines on......

still,i would say ya gettin' great depth!..on that stuff!
if you are coin shootin' 7-9" of "real" depth will cut it!..it keeps gettin'
better and better!
