Gamma or Omega ?

Which would be better for hunting in red clay with the 5x10 DD coil?

Though there's not a huge difference between the two, I'd recommend the Omega. All red clay is not created equally but if what you'll be hunting in is fairly to highly mineralized, the ground detail reporting on the Omega is "better" and will help prompt you to rebalance as needed. Again, if your ground is highly mineralized, IMO, hunting in all metal will ultimately afford you the best shot at finding fringe and previously missed targets. The Omega offers the better threshold control/range in all metal. Although I like the ergos of the Teks better, don't overlook the F-5 or even a good used T-2 either, assuming price might be a factor in your decision process.
