Using a Garrett ultra 1000( circa 1991 hunted a town common and came up with 17 quarters, 25 dimes and 2 pennies snuck in and only dug one nickle. Quite the technology
for its day and 18 years later...

Yeah the oldies still produce. Detectors haven't really changed that much - just more bells and whistles.

Yea, i love my GTA1000.I have been finding many great things with it over the years. Just picked up the ace250 with hopes of finding many more. wtg on the clad.
 
Last year I dug out my 2 old XL 500 PI machines and found four gold rings with them.

The heavy older machines rarely die. They are just replaced by newer and lighter machines!
