I have a Garrett Master Hunter vlf-tr metal detector that was my dad's. It's somewhere around 40 yrs. old. When I turn it on, it simply "squawks" loudly. Nothing seems to have an effect on it, only turning it off. Does anyone have a recommendation of where to take it for service? I'm really afraid of being ripped off. Some of the reviews I read I simply don't trust. Thanks.
