Congrats on finding the foriengn coin John. Always sweet. That's our standard $1 coin. We now have around 50 differnt designs in common cerculation, with some great designs. Our $2 coins are three quarters the size of the $1 and found a bit more frequently than the $1 coins:detecting: Shame about that. (Not!)

Run the Infinium LS coils over that Au-$1.

Most instances the sound from this coin is at the border between the hi\lo and lo\hi, when so turn the discrim up above 3 and the sound will changes to a clear Hi\Lo.
When one gets use to this peculiarity, we wind up with a 3 sound classification system.
1 is the hi\lo.
2 is the in between. (like on our $ coin)
3 is the lo\hi.

The Infinium LS is said to be made for the :ausflag::detecting: condition :super:

Hi Mike.
No only the $1 coin is a warble, our $2 coin is a clear hi/lo.

HI Ivanll,
My Infinium seems to respond a bit different to yours.

Using the 5 x 10:

I get a strong good HI/LO from the 2 dollar and a better HI/LO with the disc at 2-3. at about 4 inches and can be detected out to 7 inches (in air)

The 1 dollar gives a strong warbly LO/HI and changes to a good HI/LO with disc at 3 at about 4 inches and can be detected out to 8 inches (in air)

This also indicates how irrelevant air figures are because I have located 1 and 2 dollar coins at 12 inches or better in wet beach sand, although I must admit that I seem to finding an ever decreacing number of deep coins and that most are showing up from the surface to around 6 inches.
