Wanted to ask about the Threshold tone on the Scorpion.
The threshold tone on the GTI model is more of a "background" tone. It is useful as an aid to make sure the machine is operating, but I feel it is just an artificial tone. It does not rise and fall with targets, and the target tone is injected in place of the threshold tone when a target is detected. It works fine, and one can get used to it.
I do wonder is the Scorpion employs this same system, or if it has the older threshold tone that rises and falls with targets?
Thanks for any insight from Scorpion users. I have read the manual for the Scorpion, but am still unsure of how this tone sounds in operation.
