Off hand I'd say I've read about everything Charles Garrett has ever written. Of all his books, the ones I highly recommend are:

Treasure Hunting for Fun & Profit and The 'New' Successful Coin Hunting

Even the 'seasoned pro' will learn a thing or two from these two well written books. "The Author ~ The name of Charles Garrett ranks high on any list of individuals who have pioneered the development and use of metal detectors ... whether for discovery of treasure ... for security ... or, for any other reason." For beginners, especially, these are a must read!

:garrett: Me Too WartHog! The Garrett GTP1350 is one awesome machine! I haven't dug a pop or beer can since my first day hunting with it. Great Maching. Good Value.

Thanks for the reminder...I should read one more often...when I find some time between work and sleep.
